15_Bilderberg_2014_Generic-300x231.jpg        Conspiracy theorists may chuckle when they learn a debate entitled “Does Privacy Exist?” is to feature at this year’s Bilderberg conference, the notoriously secretive gathering of the world’s most powerful bankers, politicians and business people.

There may be a further shaking of heads when they discover one of the participants at the heavily fortified, five-star Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, will be Keith Alexander, the former director of the National Security Agency (NSA), which was embarrassed by the mass-surveillance revelations leaked by Edward Snowden. In fairness to the Bilderberg, the organisers of this year’s conference – which starts on Thursday – have made efforts to be more transparent by publishing a list of all the prime ministers, chief executives and military chiefs in attendance, as well as the topics up for discussion.

Chancellor George Osborne and his Labour counterpart, Ed Balls, are among the hand-picked group of British politicians who will visit Copenhagen to hob-nob with the global elite behind closed doors.

Other guests from the political sphere include the former “Third Man” of New Labour, Lord Mandelson, the current International Development Secretary, Justine Greening, and the veteran American foreign policy expert, Henry Kissinger.

Billionaire captains of industry who landed invitations include the heads of Shell, BP, Airbus, HSBC, Saab, AXA, Google, and Linkedin. They will sit alongside key global powerbrokers such as Christine Lagarde, the head of the International Monetary Fund, and senior officials from the European Central Bank.

The chairmen from Goldman Sachs and Lazards will perhaps reflect on how their investment banks “advised” Whitehall over the controversial flotation of Royal Mail, which left the UK taxpayer £1bn out of pocket.

Keeping a discreet eye over the exchanges will be the intelligence chiefs such as Mr Alexander from the United States and Sir John Sawers, the head of MI6, who was pictured on Facebook in his swimming trunks in 2009.

Items on the agenda include “The future of democracy and the middle-class trap”, “The new architecture of the Middle East” and the major geopolitical crisis of the moment: “Ukraine”. The secretive nature of the Bilderberg Conference has triggered suspicions that the event is used to shape global policy at the expense of democratic oversight. The idea of the euro was said to have been spawned at one meeting in the Nineties.

Paul Flynn, Labour MP for Newport West, asked a series of parliamentary questions about Bilderberg last year when the conference was held at a five-star hotel near Watford. He told The Independent: “I don’t regard the Bilderberg as a great threat but we would all like to know what is going on with these things. Secrecy inspires concern.”

Despite its new efforts at transparency, the conference is still acutely sensitive about radical infiltration. On Tuesday night, three journalists – self-styled “InfoWarriors” – were arrested by Danish police after they tried to ambush the organisers outside the Marriott.

Unfortunately for Hannah Borno, a British freelance journalist staying in the hotel, she was spotted exchanging words with the “InfoWarriors” earlier in the day, which caused her stay to be prematurely cut short. She said: “As my husband and I prepared to go to bed we were confronted by a hotel member of staff and a member of security. They said we had been seen talking to some people earlier who had been asked to leave, and for the safety of the staff they had been advised to ask us to leave.”

In 1954, the most powerful men in the world met for the first time under the auspices of the Dutch royal crown and the Rockefeller family at the luxurious Hotel Bilderberg in the small Dutch town of Oosterbeek. For an entire weekend, they debated the future of the world. 'When it was over, they decided to meet once every year to exchange ideas and analyze international affairs. They named themselves the Bilderberg Group. Since then, they have gathered yearly in a luxurious hotel somewhere in the world to try to decide the future of humanity.  - Under cover video  - Main Stream News Coverage

Inside Bilderberg 2014

Mysterious, sinister and that’s only after you heard Peter Mandelson, Ed Balls and George Osborne are members.

This elite group gathers every year the most powerful business, political and military leaders from across the world to discuss global ‘megatrends’.

While who attends these summits is not secret, the topics, nature and results of debate are kept private from the media and public.

The Bilderberg group is celebrating its 60th birthday at its annual summit this week in Denmark, where, according to the official participant list,  both the Shadow Chancellor and George Osborne are due to attend.

Attending industry and military leaders include the Google Chairman, Eric Schmidt, the current Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces in Europe, General  Philip Breedlove and the former NSA chief, Keith Alexander.

One can only guess Edward Snowden’s invite was lost in the post.

David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair have all previously attended Bilderberg summits along with the likes of former CIA Director, Gen. David Petraeus.

Many conspiracy theories including the writings of Dan Brown reference the Bilderberg group as been a sinister organisation controlling all major political changes for the last six decades.

The summit last year was held at the Grove Hotel in Watford where Mr Cameron gave a speech.

Could this be the Illuminati reborn, do we need Professor Robert Langdon to sort it out?

Then again, it cannot be too sinister, Ed Balls and Bill Clinton are members.

In this video Luke Rudkowski gives us a recap of the 2014 #bilderberg meeting with interviews from independent media covering the confab.

In medieval times the most crooked arch-dukes and barons could gather in an imposing castle of their choice and plot the demise of their kindly neighbors, without anyone knowing what they were up to. But have we come a long way in six hundred years?

Propelled by more money than anyone could ever spend and the strange compulsion to make even more, Bilderberg's 21st Century Western elite have gathered again, preparing to devastate more once prosperous lands, for asset stripping and reconstruction contracts.

When they tell us they are just trying to put the world to rights, I say 'phooey!' Just look at what a wreck they are making of the 21st Century. Just look at the medieval courtiers of finance capitalism. The bankers, intelligence chiefs and private military strategists are the dukes, energy and arms firms the barons. The lowly politicians and media cannot resist sticking their noses in, hoping for a share of the spoils of war.

Whether its money laundering for the Mexican drug cartel, hacking, torturing in secret prisons or just assassinating their political rivals with drones, one thing all the feudal Bilderberg elite have in common is crime. We like to think that everyone is equal under the law in our modern judicial systems but Bilderberg is living proof that the money men and their favored ones are above the law.

The betrayal by Bilderberg politicians and media

In the post-9/11 Western world, legal impunity from bribery, murder and fraud has become the norm amongst the big arms firms, military men and banksters that make up Bilderberg's core. As they step over the Bilderberg threshold swearing to Chatham House rules of secrecy our media and elected politicians don't just betray their voters, viewers, readers and listeners, just by being there they are endorsing the Bilderbergers' crimes, betraying everything we voted them into office, or listen to their news or buy their papers for.

The politicians may also be breaking the criminal law. When the mayor of Atlanta Georgia Kasim Reed gets home he should face arrest and questioning under the 1799 Logan Act, which expressly forbids politicians from entering into private discussions with foreign governments. In the UK it's prohibited by Parliament’s Ministerial Code but the man in charge of overseeing it, David Cameron, broke the code himself going to Bilderberg last year. Contempt for parliamentary standards straight from the top.

What with the bankers to finance it and the increasing presence of secret services and arms firms to prosecute it, Bilderberg has become the engine room of the warfare state. Bilderberg chummy too these days are the present and future internet media giants: Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Google, YouTube and LinkedIn are all on first name terms with the war machine too. ‘Don’t be evil unless you can get away with it.’
