Short of an outright declaration of war, and full funding and support for said war, which would have that effect among others, I refuse to condone such a bill.

Oh, right, let's just make it a law and leave the enforcement of it discretionary and unfunded.

Yes, I know.  Funding terrorism is a violation of Town Ordinances, section 93, chapter 007.631 of the Town of Houghton.  They're thinking about making it a county-wide ordinance.

NATO Auditor Who Discovered US Funds ISIS Found Murdered

23 December 2016.

Chief Nato auditor who discovered that the U.S. funds ISIS found murdered in Belgium

A NATO auditor who had uncovered evidence that ISIS was being funded by Western government, was found murdered in Belgium.

Yves Chandelon, the Chief Auditor for NATO, was found dead in the city of Andenne in the Belgian Ardennes. He was found with a gun in his right hand, in an apparent suicide attempt.

However, family members are urging authorities to investigate for murder, saying that Yves had been complaining of threatening phone calls in the week leading up to his death, and point out that he was left-handed and so would not have used his right hand to fire the weapon.

According to police reports, the gun used to kill Yves was unregistered, despite the fact that he had three registered guns in his name.

Pravdareport.com reports:

The body was detected 140km away off his work and 100km away off the city of Lens, where he lived.

Three units of weapons were registered in the name of the 60-y.o. killed official. However, an unregistered one was found near the body.

Chandelon was dealing in particular with issues on countering terrorism funding.

According to the media, he was talking recently about strange phone calls he received. The investigation is being continued.

As Pravda.Ru reported, NATO's budgets have been growing lately. The latest increase was by 26bln dollars up to 918bln dollars. And the US media wonders what for NATO needs this for.

ISIS, a.k.a. ISIL, a.k.a. Da`esh, steals and sells oil on the market; it's a commodity; some of it ends up in your gas tank; some of your money ends up in ISIS' hands.  You have to think, before you advocate or vote for a law like this, how easily it becomes just another federal law to be misapplied at will in parochial ignorance to someone who is persona non grata in some district or another for an unrelated reason.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTS CIA TO HALT SUPPORT FOR ANTI-ASSAD REBELS IN SYRIA

TRUMP, OFFICIAL, STATE, FREEZE, AID, ANTITANK, SYRIA, MILITARY, CIA'S, POLICY, WEAPONRY, TRUMP'S, ARMED, GRENADES, ARMY, FATEH, FORCE, DONALD, SYRIAN, AMERICAN, ASSISTANCE, OBAMA, BARACK, REBELS, AL-ASSAD, HALT, YEARS, AFFILIATED, PRESIDENT, INTELLIGENCE, REBEL, WHITE, MILITANT, OPERATIONS, WASHINGTON, ADMINISTRATION,

Published: February 23, 2017

The White House has instructed the Central Intelligence Agency to halt military support to armed groups that are associated with the Free Syrian Army (FSA), a group opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Some believe that the move indicates a change in American policy under United States President Donald Trump. But Syrian rebel commanders say they believe the move is temporary, and that military aid will be restored. For several years, the CIA has Text and other forms of assistance to rebel groups in Syria, such as the New Syrian Force, which operate under the umbrella of the FSA. Aside from training, the assistance has included light and heavy ammunition, including antitank missiles, mines and grenades.

However, it appears that the CIA was instructed nearly a month ago by the White House to freeze all assistance to these rebel groups. Correspondents from the Reuters news agency said they confirmed the change in policy by speaking to senior rebel commanders from five armed groups operating under the FSA. These commanders told Reuters that they had not been given any official reason for the sudden termination of all CIA assistance. The change coincided with the change of guard at the White House, from Barack Obama to Donald Trump. Some in Washington, as well as some members of rebel factions in Syria, are concerned that the change in the CIA's stance might denote a broader policy shift in the White House. During his election campaign, Mr. Trump said repeatedly that he would end America's overt and covert support for the FSA and would focus instead on defeating the Islamic State.

But the rebel commanders themselves told Reuters that the freeze in CIA support was due to a wave of renewed attacks against them by Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, a Sunni militant group that was previously affiliated with al-Qaeda. The rebels said that the CIA was concerned that weaponry provided to the FSA would end up in the hands of jihadist militants, so it temporarily halted its support until Jabhat Fateh al-Sham could be pushed back by FSA forces. Reuters published comments by two anonymous officials who were familiar with the CIA's operations in Syria. They told the newspaper that the freeze of the CIA's program had "nothing to do with US President Donald Trump replacing Barack Obama in January". Additionally, said Reuters, Mr. Trump's policy in Syria remains unknown. Several newspapers and news agencies contacted the CIA asking for comments, but the agency declined all requests on Wednesday.

This requires Congress to declare war.  Without a declaration of war by act of Congress, we lack internationally recognized rules of engagement to effectively combat the self-proclaimed caliphate.

Breakthrough: US Becomes Major Oil Exporter Under Trump

February 25, 2017

The United States has become a major exporter of crude oil since President Trump took office, sending a record 7 billion barrels into the world market last week.

The United States has become a major exporter of crude oil since President Trump took office, sending a record 7 billion barrels into the world market last week.

Like all of President Trump's campaign promises, his plan to create "complete American energy independence" and ban Saudi Arabian oil from the U.S. market is being fulfilled ahead of schedule.

During the election campaign Trump vowed to secure U.S. energy independence from "our foes and the oil cartels," and predictably the Saudis, major donors to the Clinton campaign, were not happy with this plan.

Saudi oil minister Khalid Al-Falih warned Trump that banning Saudi oil could "seriously damage" the U.S. economy. "At his heart President-elect Trump will see the benefits and I think the oil industry will also be advising him accordingly that blocking trade in any product is not healthy," Saudi Energy Minister and Aramco chairman Khalid Al-Falih told the Financial Times.

But the Saudi energy minister's threats of serious damage to the American economy could not be further from the truth.  When it comes to oil production in recent years, the U.S. is right behind Saudi Arabia. Production of quality "light sweet oil" is booming and Trump is turning America into a major exporter.

There is simply no need for the U.S. to import oil and prop up a repressive regime that was exposed by WikiLeaks as providers of "financial and logistical support" for ISIS.

CNBC reports:

U.S. oil producers sent a record 7 million barrels of crude out into the world market last week, at a time when OPEC members have cut back on their own output by nearly the same amount.

Analysts say it makes sense that U.S. crude slipped into the market void created by OPEC. It may also be a glimpse into the future where the U.S. and its shale production becomes a more significant player in the world export market. The 1 million barrels a day is nearly double the week-earlier level.

"We're raising our output and it has more than a parochial impact. It's not so much that it makes the U.S. inventories unwieldy. It's that it adds to the global inventory," said Tom Kloza, head of global energy research at Oil Price Information Service. "That really is the concern in the global oil market. We tend to import the medium and heavy [grades of crude]. I'm sure most of the exports are light sweet oil."

Energy analysts were surprised by the amount of exports, which have been running about 500,000 barrels a day, and averaged 685,000 barrels a day over four weeks. But they were not ready to say this is now a new sustainable level for U.S. exports.

"This is the future. It's not what it was in the shale boom, where there was just too much production, and we had these big discounts for crude in the United States," Kloza said.

OPEC and other producers held back about 890,000 barrels a day from the world market in January, under their agreement to curb output in order to support prices.

Kilduff said China may have been a bigger destination for U.S. barrels because of its purchases of U.S. shale operations, and the output cuts by other producers have possibly made an opening. He also pointed to a report on Reuters that quoted sources saying as much as 7 million barrels were lined up and heading to Asia, with 2 million chartered to China in December by PetroChina and Unipec.

"We've been waiting for this to happen," said Kilduff of the export jump. "We'll see how it goes. We're going to face competition." He said cargoes also go to Europe and Latin America, and Canada has been a longtime export destination.

"It's incredible that we were able to put 9.5 million barrels into storage last week, while exporting a million barrels a day," Kilduff said.

The U.S. even with exports continues to import oil a lot of crude. It imported 7.5 million barrels of oil last week, down from 8.8 million barrels the week earlier.

U.S. oil production has been rising, and held steady at just under 9 million barrels a day last week.

Iraqi Army Discovers US-Made Missiles in ISIS's Military Base in Mosul

Nov 1, 2016

Iraqi army and popular forces have discovered a number of US-made missiles from a military position of the ISIS (ISIL, IS, Daesh) in the Southern part of Mosul, informed local sources disclosed after the first group of pro-government troops opened their way into Southern Mosul on Monday.

"Several US-made missiles were found in al-Shoura region to the South of Mosul," a local source said on Monday.

The Iraqi army and popular forces had found US-made missiles in Anbar province several times before.

Provincial officials confirmed that the US-made weapons were sent by the US-led anti-ISIL coalition airplane for the ISIL terrorists in Anbar province.

Meantime, Iraqi security officials announced that the ISIL has sent US-made military equipment to Tal Afar region in the last two days to stand strong against Iraqi popular forces' impending attack to capture the region.

"The ISIL terrorists have sent US-made TOW anti-tank missiles to Tal Afar and it is quite evident that they are preparing for a long-term war," the Arabic-language media quoted an Iraqi security official as saying on Monday.

In late August 2015, a senior Iraqi intelligence official revealed that the US helicopters drop weapons and other aids for the ISIL terrorists in the Western province of al-Anbar.

"The fighters present at the forefront of fighting against the ISIL always see US helicopters flying over the ISIL-controlled areas and dropping weapons and urgent aids for them," the official who called for anonymity told FNA.Image result for ISIS weapons made in uSA

Yet, he said the helicopters could have also been sent from Turkey or Israel.

He added that in addition to dropping aids, the helicopters transfer the ISIL ringleaders and wounded members from the battleground to some hospitals in Syria or other countries which support the terrorist group.

The official cautioned that such assistance further prolongs the conflicts in Anbar, adding that when the Iraqi army and popular forces purge the terrorists from Anbar province, the US helicopters will transfer the ISIL ringleaders to other regions to prevent the Iraqi forces' access to ISIL secrets.

Also in March 2015, a group of Iraqi popular forces known as Al-Hashad Al-Shabi shot down the US Army helicopter that was carrying weapons for the ISIL in the Western parts of Al-Baghdadi region in Al-Anbar province.

Meantime in February 2015, a senior lawmaker disclosed that Iraq's army had shot down two British planes as they were carrying weapons for the ISIL terrorists in Al-Anbar province.

"The Iraqi Parliament's National Security and Defense Committee has access to the photos of both planes that are British and have crashed while they were carrying weapons for the ISIL," al-Zameli said.

EPIC: Tulsi Gabbard Calls Adam Kinzinger, John McCain and Evan McMullin Terrorist Enablers…

TULSI, MCCAIN, MUSLIM, SYRIAN, ISIS, OPPOSITION, JOHN, PICTURE, AL-BAGHDADI, PHOTOGRAPH, BAGHDADI, TRIP, EVIDENCE, REPRESENTATIVE, FIGHT, MEETING, JIHADI, SENATOR, GABBARD, TERRORIST, VISITED, PRESIDENT, SYRIA, WESTERN, ISLAMIC, EXTREMISTS, ABU, CNN,

Posted on January 25, 2017    by sundance

This is beyond epic.  Representative Tulsi Gabbard visited Syria and delivers big and bold truth to CNN upon her return interview.

Gabbard deconstructs the false narrative sold by the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama administration, John McCain, Adam Kinzinger and Evan McMullin -all of whom supported the various terrorist factions within Syria- and sets the record straight:

The "Rebels" in Syria are extremist terrorists.

CNN host Jake Tapper just didn't know what to do with himself as Gabbard deconstructed his ideological, and brutally wrong, talking points.  Tapper left staring at the camera with that doofy expression, puzzled and wrinkled brow: "huh"?  Watch:

jake-tapper-has-sadtulsi-gabbard

To further support what Tulsi Gabbard is explaining, previously we shared:

Were it not for an fortuitous, albeit innocuous, picture spotted today - a connection would never have been possible. As such please consider this outline an important addendum to The Benghazi Brief…. and bear with me as we attempt to outline something quite remarkable as it relates to the 2016 campaign against Donald Trump.

isis-brotherhood-1-kinzinger-mccain-mcmullinRepresentative Adam Kinzinger, Senator John McCain, candidate Evan McMullin

What you are about to read is specifically how the Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS, connect to those outlined above - and how their individual behaviors within the 2016 election begin to make sense. Perhaps, like us, you will have an ah-ha moment.

The "Never Trump" coalition has always consisted of a few noisy and indecent politicians within Washington DC. Senator Ben Sasse, Senator Jeff Flake and Representative Adam Kinzinger the most noteworthy and vitriolic.

Whenever CNN, or for that matter any media, want a republican voice to argue against Donald Trump, in the "current days' outrage du jour", they call upon Kinzinger first and foremost. He seemingly loves the spotlight as much as he enjoys promoting himself on social media. In essence, he's a proud #NeverTrumper.

We'll come back to Kinzinger and McMullin in a moment. But first we must place the second set of puzzle pieces on the table.

When we did all the exhaustive research into the Benghazi Brief three years ago, one of the pictures that continued to draw our interest was this one:

mccain-in-syria

The picture above was taken during a time when Senator John McCain visited Syria, and the Western media were proclaiming there were "moderates" in the opposition to Bashir Assad. Senator McCain proclaimed this 2012 visit to be meeting with the "Free Syrian Army". [Coincidentally, this was on the same trip where he met Ambassador Chris Stevens at the Benghazi courthouse in Libya for the last time].

However, at the same time McCain was trying to convince the world of moderate Syrian resistance, multiple voices within non-traditional journalism, and a large number of people doing independent research, reached the conclusion that al-qaeda and al-Nusra extremists had completely infiltrated the Syrian resistance groups, and a new militant Islamic network was forming.

"2012 NO ISLAM WITHOUT JIHAD" - members of the Free Syrian Army. Abu Khuder and his men fight for al-Qaida. They call themselves the ghuraba'a, or "strangers", after a famous jihadi poem celebrating Osama bin Laden's time with his followers in the Afghan mountains, and they are one of a number of jihadi organisations establishing a foothold in the east of the country now that the conflict in Syria has stretched well into its second bloody year.

They try to hide their presence. "Some people are worried about carrying the [black] flags," said Abu Khuder. "They fear America will come and fight us. So we fight in secret. Why give Bashar and the west a pretext?" But their existence is common knowledge in Mohassen. Even passers-by joke with the men about car bombs and IEDs.

That network ultimately evidenced and defined itself as the Islamic State, or ISIS.

In 2013 and 2014, even though ISIS initially did not have a name, as the hardline extremists in Syria became more openly visible, eventually the western media accepted Raqqa and Aleppo had become the de-facto center of Syrian ISIS operations. In August of 2014 President Obama finally admitted the problem and stated his administration was caught off guard and did not have a strategy to combat them.

Back To The Photograph - The importance of the McCain photograph became increasingly interesting because ISIS as an extremist force became increasingly visible. As a direct consequence we were able to identify the ideology of the people in the picture:

mccain-in-syria-2-detail-2

There has been some skepticism as to #2 being al-Baghdadi himself, and Senator John McCain has strongly refuted this claim. However, there is more evidence to prove it is Baghdadi than to refute it's not Baghdadi. Person #2 looks just like him:

bagdadi

mccain-syria-8-1

In addition, one of the important bits of evidence to prove #2 is indeed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is actually found in #1 Abu Mosa (ISIS Press Officer).

There is absolutely no doubt that #1 is the (now dead) Islamic State Press Officer Abu Mosa.

abu-mosa-2abu mosa dead

Abu Mosa was killed in August 2014. In 2012, during organization, Baghdadi would have a man with this level of importance to the Islamic State around him at the time this picture was taken.

However, lets look at #5 - "Mouaz Moustafa", because he is the current person that should be of interest to everyone in the 2016 presidential discussion. Moustafa is the connective tissue per se'. In the photograph, he's also Senator McCain's intermediary:

mccain-in-syria-2-detailmccain-syria-9-1

Fast forward two intense years later and look where #5, Mouaz Moustafa shows up in 2014. And more specifically the two faces that show up with him:

kinzinger-3-w-mcmullin

Well lookie there. During a trip to Turkey in 2014 to discuss arming Syrian rebel groups, under the auspices of fighting ISIS, you see Representative Adam Kinzinger appear. Oh yeah, and who's that other fellow circled in the meeting? ….why that's our anti-Trump candidate Evan McMullin.

Huh, fancy that.

Spotting Evan McMullin conspicuously standing there in the picture made us want to go back to the CNN file footage from the time and see if he was actually visible in the report they filed from Turkey. Yup, he's there alright.

Watch and spot him in the background during quite a bit of the footage:

Long before anyone heard about Evan McMullin running for President, there he is paling around with #NeverTrump Adam Kinzinger in Turkey chatting with the Muslim Brotherhood affiliates (guise SETF) who are essentially the political arm of ISIS under a differing name.

The declared purpose of the meeting was to discuss who and how to arm the entities within Syria. However, just like in 2012/2013 these same Brotherhood voices in 2014 are simply trying to present themselves as one thing, only to gain the goal of another. That's ultimately the story behind the arms deals within The Benghazi Brief. That's the lesson that should have been learned if the truth contained within the brief were ever to have larger public interest.

Additionally, all that said - it's connections like these that make other things, like the opposition to Donald Trump, make much more sense.
