The "Aryan heresy" and other white people's discontent with the Church

Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, and others left the Roman Catholic Church in a period of tumult called the "Reformation" because they, along with the Lollards and the Bohemian Brethren, were sympathetic to the teachings of John Huss (Jan Hus) and unhappy with the circumstances of his trial and execution by burning at the stake which had taken place over one hundred years earlier. The Reformation was mostly a white people's discontent: it occurred in Europe, and the aggrieved people were mostly white.

About a thousand years before the Reformation there was a major schism in the Catholic Church, which split into a Western branch, which became the Roman Catholic Church, and an Eastern branch, from which the Greek, Russian, and Ethiopian Orthodox Churches are descended. Think about the people involved for a moment: the Romans (or Italians), the Greeks, and even some Jews and Arabs, (Semitic people,) and no doubt some Africans, (Negros,) had dark hair, dark brown eyes, and some shade of lighter or darker brown skin.

About that time, a few Germanic tribes, known as "Aryans," had some different ideas or beliefs which they introduced at a synod or general meeting of the church. Their beliefs were immediately denounced as "heresy" at these church meetings. I'm thinking that "white people" were far in the minority at that time and place -- literally a few strange tribes from the far north with unusually pale skin -- and that anything they said would have been considered a heresy -- the "Aryan heresy."

There was some objection or dispute over the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, but I cannot seem to find out precisely what the "heresy" was all about, but a certain perception that what certain other people said was terribly wrong, possibly because they were of a different culture, and historians have not made the nature of the misundertanding very clear.

All religions are childish bull shit, an ancient tool perpetrated through the ages to control the multitudes with myths and superstition and fear of a vengeful all powerful creator god willing to send poor stupid humans to eternal hellfire and damnation for trivia. Pay the powerful priesthood for a few hail Mary's and all will be forgiven.

If we analyze what most people really believe in scientific light the stupidity is dumbfounding.

Religions exist, whether you believe in them or not. People always believe in some worldview or paradigm of how the world came to be and what will become of it in the end. Some beliefs are considered more religious, some are considered more scientific, and some are pseudo-scientific, esoteric, or absolute nonsense.

This is the U.S. courthouse red-light district. Not religio licita.

Very, very true.
