Gnostic Christian Bishop 7 Posted May 19, 2018 Is the ongoing punishment of Adam and Eve justifiable? Christian dogma says that Adam and Eve were murdered by neglect when God locked away the tree of life. Eve was deceived by Satan and the talking serpent that God put in Eden. This caused the Original Sin concept that Christianity calls a happy fault and necessary to God’s plan. Was gaining an education and a moral sense, which basically is what gaining knowledge is, justifiable to you? Can you see yourself punishing your children for gaining an education and a moral sense the way God is punishing Adam and Eve to this day? Regards DL
Jason76 0 Posted March 31 It does seem inevitable that the pair would have chosen evil - something, though, Christ didn't do. O.K. a question is whether Jesus had more ability to resist sin than Adam. Anyway, "the evil" they chose was basically - on a deep level - the freedom to make their own morality - one of the big anti-themes of the Bible.

Given that Yahweh is describes as having satanic morals, like genocidal and infanticidal, is getting away from Yahweh's foul moral not a good thing?
