Kaspersky China

Kaspersky is Russian, I thought. But obviously there are deep Chinese connections.

There is a Registrant, 北京卡巴斯基网络安全技术有限公司, and a Sponsoring Registrar, 北京新网数码信息技术有限公司. Obviously the domain is "owned" by Kaspersky, but there is a "landlord" issue with the ".com.cn" domain in China, a "Sponsoring Registrar," which almost seems to indicate at least the likelihood or possibility of a "foreign" ownership that must somehow be subordinated to a more privileged domestic entity in China.

I noticed hacking activity from a block of IP addresses that was at one point affiliated with Kaspersky China, and meanwhile there is somewhat a kerfuffle in the U.S. government about the use of Kaspersky antivirus software. Of course the real problem is Microsoft Windows, but the government will never admit that, although Microsoft, too, is controlled by foreign interests, namely the Indian national CEO Satya Narayana Nadella, and the large fraction of its workforce from India who have traveled to the United States for employment on the notorious H1-B visa program, after U.S. citizens have been adjudicated as mental defectives and deemed overqualified or else incompetent to work in the industry.
